The discovery of written literature from the turn of the twentieth century startled me, even as a skilled librarian. Besides the stated contents, the author's voice, the structure of the text inside, the page count, and the quality of the information offered about the books all play a role in my selection process. I have taken note of the many different types of book descriptions and the many different sources used for their content. The volumes include information from a broad range of sources, of wildly varying quality.
